The Fake Tooth

Me - Papa and Daddy Bear said you lost another tooth outside the other day. You didn't tell me that!

Son - Well....insert ornery cackeling...I actually bit off the white part of Candy Corn and showed that to them and pretended I swallowed it. I was just joking but forgot to tell them.
Me - Oh, so you didn't lose a tooth?
Son - Nope
Me - Why did you do that?
Son - I wanted to get money from the tooth fairy. I didn't have evidence so I wanted to see if it worked
